Chuck and the Space Koalas

Another 2.5 hour quickie. This was totally unplanned when I started but I'm pretty pleased with the result. Not something I would call 'finished' but finished far enough that I learned a few things from it and don't mind displaying it... As for the story... well it would take a while to explain ;)

Character

Still in the fast-painting theme. A bit of a different facial structure than I usually go for, so I'm quite pleased with that. I still found myself smoothing out the skin more than I would have liked because I had some trouble with leaving a pretty face rough-painted. That's a challenge for another day, I think.

Damned King

More practice. Getting faster and better at focusing on what is important. I enjoyed the simple palette on this one as well. I think this took me a total of 2 hours, so I think I'm doing something right at last. Feels like I've turned a corner here.

Size Definitely Matters

Behind on my blog updates here. Mostly that's because I was having some upload issues, but I still find it inexcusable! So, My apologies, and I give you this, er, questionable damsel and her trusty weapon of ridiculous proportion!
I'm back to just having fun painting, in a real effort to loosen up and enjoy myself. So far, so good :)

Centaur Princess
